Showroom Designworks is a Victoria flooring company that does one thing — wood floors — and does it properly.
Who we are
A trade, not a template.
We're hardwood floor installation professionals based in Victoria, British Columbia. For roughly two decades our crews have supplied, installed, refinished and restored wood floors across the city — in family homes, heritage houses, restaurants, bars, shops, offices, new construction and multi-unit buildings.
Flooring manufacturers train our installers directly on their products and installation techniques. That matters more than it sounds: materials change constantly, and the difference between a floor that lasts and one that fails is almost always in the preparation and the details — acclimatization, subfloor work, expansion gaps, transitions, finish.
Most of our work comes the old-fashioned way: someone stood on a floor we built and asked who did it.

Straight answers
If your floor should be restored instead of replaced, we'll say so. If laminate is the smarter buy for the room, we'll say that too.
One responsibility
We supply the floor and we install it. When one company owns both, the details don't fall between two contracts.
Respect for the material
Wood is an organic material with its own personality. We choose species and finishes for how they'll live in your rooms — not for what's on sale.
