There are more styles, colours and species of wood flooring available today than ever before — traditional oak, rustic pine, rich walnut, pale hickory and beyond. Choosing well matters, because wood is an organic material with its own personality: it responds to light, moisture and the seasons, and every species behaves a little differently.

Solid hardwood
The classic: milled from a single piece of wood, sandable and refinishable for generations. We install traditional site-finished floors as well as prefinished boards, plank and strip, with decorative borders and inlays where they suit the room.
Engineered hardwood
A real hardwood wear layer over a stable core. Engineered floors are the practical choice where moisture or heat make solid wood risky — over concrete slabs, in basements, or with in-floor heating. More dimensionally stable than solid boards, fast to install, and available in nearly any species; many can be refinished when the day comes.
Specialty & exotic woods
For grain and colour you won't find in domestic species, we source specialty and exotic woods — most harder and more durable than domestic options — milled from managed forests.

Common questions
Solid or engineered — which should I choose?
Both are real wood on the surface. Solid gives you the most lifetimes of refinishing; engineered gives you stability where moisture, concrete or heating systems are in play. We'll recommend one after we've seen the room — not before.
Can hardwood go over concrete?
Engineered hardwood can, on a dry, properly prepared slab. It's one of the most common situations we install in, including commercial spaces and condos.
Do you supply the flooring too?
Yes. We have access to nearly every species of wood used for flooring, plank or engineered, and we quote supply and installation together so there's one point of responsibility.
